Harmon opened up in an interview with People Magazine in 2019 and spoke about his relationship with Dawber. He believes that meeting later in life really helped and explained: “We were both in our thirties when we got married, so hopefully the stupid stuff we did earlier. That’s probably the closest I have to what the key is.”

However, Harmon has said that he believes having a difference in opinion is quite beneficial to their relationship. In fact, he revealed that Dawber was not in favor of one of his biggest decisions.
