In 1996, Mark was faced with a horrific situation when a car crash took place outside his house in Brentwood. The driver escaped, but the passenger was trapped inside the car that had burst into flame. Harmon broke into the car with a sledgehammer brought from his garage and saved the teenage boy who was trapped in the flames.
