So AC/DC are an Australian rock band which formed way back in 1973 by the brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. They’re considered a hard rock/blues rock band, or even a heavy metal band, although they have always believed their music to simply be “rock and roll”. Whatever the genre, we love them! They’ve sold more than 200 million albums worldwide, including 71.5 million in America alone. After the lead singer and co-songwriter Bon Scott tragically passed away, AC/DC considered dismantling but Bon Scott’s parents urged the group to find a replacement and carry on. Wow, talk about family love. After which they found Brian Johnson and he became the new lead singer, to commemorate Bon Scott, the band wrote the album ‘Back in Black’ which launched them to a whole new height of success and became their all-time best-seller. What a fabulous tale!
